Format
Campers use the dorms at the University of Iowa as well as dining halls for meals 3 times a day. Campers receive lessons on individual techniques and apply those new skills learned during daily competitions. Considering it is an invitational camp, members of the coaching staff look at wrestlers from all over the country when they decide upon offering an invite. We try to invite about 75-100 wrestlers from across the nation so there is a plenty of talent to be seen. As well as Coach Dan Gable, former 3 time NCAA National Champion and Olympian Ed Banach will make a guest appearance to the camp; teaching wrestlers how he became the wrestler he became and offering plenty of advice to them as well.
